Many of us know we turn to food whenever we’re stressed, sad, anxious, or bored. We know it's not the healthiest coping mechanism, but for some reason we just can't seem to stop ourselves.
Even if we create a new food plan or set more ambitious goals or promise ourselves we're going to stop, before long something stressful pops up and we end up right back in the kitchen on the hunt for another food fix.
Have you ever polished off half a batch of cookie dough and thought,
"What in the world am I doing?"
Have you ever heard your mind yelling at you to quit eating but you still continued to binge?
It begs the question:
What in the world is driving our emotional eating?
What's causing us to keep doing something that we very much want to stop?
In this 45 minute video/PowerPoint course, we’ll uncover some of the subconscious beliefs that are driving us to seek out food to help us cope. We may not even know these types of beliefs exist deep in our hearts and minds, but they're the very thing that's fueling our emotional eating. I believe uncovering these subconscious beliefs is the first step on the path to health and healing.
Then we'll talk about how to reframe that faulty thinking so we no longer turn to food to fix what it can't even fix in the first place. And we're not talking about a bunch of cognitive exercises here--but a deeply spiritual process of self-evaluation. The Lord knows the depth of our mind much better than we do, so we need His grace and wisdom to fill us as He teaches us to see food and eating in a whole new way.
Join me as we dig under the surface and see exactly what's fueling our emotional eating . . . and how to start a new life.

Your Instructor
Hi, I'm Jaci (it's pronounced JAY-see), and I'm a Certified Wellness Coach, Mind-Body Coach, and Biblical Life Coach. While I can coach on any life issues, I specialize in sugar addiction, emotional eating, and body image. I struggled with these things myself for over two decades, but I've now been in recovery for almost 20 years and I'm passionate about sharing the road to healing any way I can. I'm a three-time author, speaker, podcaster, YouTuber, and former food addiction recovery facilitator, and a mom of 7 grown children and a bunch of adorable grandchildren. But underneath all that outward busyness, I'm just an ordinary woman who discovered an extraordinary Savior. My greatest joy lies in teaching and testifying of the One who not only changed my heart, but radically transformed my entire life. Visit me online at jaciwightman.com.
